Filter of Hope is a 501(c)(3) Christian non-profit ministry. We provide household point-of-use water filters to families in material poverty and partner with local churches for gospel-centered outreach.
Operating through established in-country ministry bases to ensure physical sustainability and spiritual fruitfulness, Filter of Hope maintains absolute financial integrity and transparency, holding high institutional accreditations from the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), Charity Navigator, Candid, and others.
Filter of Hope is completely funded by generous donors and supporters.
Our donors make it possible for families to receive water filters and hear the gospel, and we don’t take their trust lightly. We welcome our responsibility to be faithful stewards of their resources and to maintain integrity in our financial practices.

Filter of Hope has received a 100% rating (or a perfect score of 100 out of 100) from Charity Navigator two years in a row. We have achieved the highest possible marks across the evaluator’s rigorous assessment categories.

How do Charity Navigator ratings work?
Charity Navigator calculates its overall score using a weighted average of four key assessment areas, which they call “Beacons.” A 100% score means the charity excelled in all of the following:

Any charity that scores a 90 or above receives a 4-Star Rating, which is Charity Navigator’s highest designation. A 100% puts Filter of Hope at the absolute top of the 4-star tier.

FOH uses DigiCert’s Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Protocol when collecting or transferring sensitive data such as credit card information. Any information you enter is encrypted at your browser, sent over the public Internet in encrypted form, than de-encrypted on a secure server.
