Joshua receives another shipment; final shipment sent via air
The final shipment of emergency water filters has officially left our factory and taken off via air transport.
Our Nepali partner Joshua just received more water filters from a previous shipment after they cleared customs. They are returning directly to flood-devastated villages. Please pray safety for Joshua and his teams as they make the grueling 8-hour trek back to the destruction zone. This trip normally takes 2 hours, but normal roads have been washed away.

Because these 10-year filters remove 99.99% of bacteria and are a sustainable long-term solution for clean water, they are catching the attention of local authorities across the region.
Nepal’s Minister of Health wants to join a distribution team in person. In a nation where nearly 90% of people are unreached by the gospel, indigenous Christians are becoming known for their generosity and compassion as they deliver clean water and hope. This open door will bear fruit for years to come.

Campaign goal reached: 2,772 water filters funded!
Thanks to the incredible response of 174 generous donors, our emergency campaign for Nepal is now 100% fully funded! A total of 2,772 emergency water filters have been purchased, shipped, and mobilized for distribution across flood-impacted communities.
- On-the-ground impact: Over 200 filters have already been set up in hard-hit mountain villages. At the request of local ward duty offices, filters were also delivered to local emergency personnel to keep first-responder stations safe and operational.
- Overcoming obstacles: Local communities, where over 1,000 people are homeless in single village areas, have expressed immense gratitude.
- Sustainable relief: While initial bottled water distributions ran out quickly, our 10-year water filters provide an immediate, lasting solution against waterborne diseases like cholera and dysentery as monsoon rains continue.

Second shipment passes 53% of its funding goal
Generosity continues to build for our second wave of relief! Funding for the second shipment of 1,500 filters has surpassed 53%, backed by a key matching commitment covering 47% of this batch.
- Broadening coalition: Partner Prem is mobilizing distribution teams alongside YWAM, Cru, and emergency responders to reach newly accessible landslide zones.
- The Bhaktapur Christian Community Network: A total of 94 local churches have now joined the response effort, and Joshua is coordinating directly with the Red Cross and local government authorities to ensure aid reaches those most in need.

First water filters distributed on Sunday morning
Indigenous partner Joshua and local team members carried over 100 filters up into destroyed mountain valleys over the weekend, installing them for families who lost their homes and bringing clean water access.

First 1,000 filters cleared and field deployments begin
Great news from Kathmandu! The initial air shipment of 1,000 emergency filters has arrived safely in Nepal.
- Local partnership formalized: Our local partner Joshua has helped organize over 90 Nepalese churches across the country to deliver aid as the hands and feet of Jesus and the Church’s love. This Bhaktapur Christian Community coalition will streamline long-term distribution and aid while providing indigenous leadership to relief efforts.

First shipment packed and en route to Kathmandu
Visual update straight from our manufacturing facility dock in Asia: crates containing the first 1,000 emergency filters have been packed, loaded, and air-shipped to Kathmandu!
- Rapid response: Raised in under 48 hours thanks to an emergency donor drive, these filters remove 99.99% of bacteria and protozoa, turning contaminated floodwaters into clean drinking water for 10 years.
- Field preparation: Joshua and his team are preparing hiking routes into remote, high-altitude border villages where water systems were completely destroyed.

$50,000 goal met in under 48 hours
Praise the Lord! In less than two days, our donor community rallied to raise the full $50,000 needed to fund Joshua’s urgent request for 1,000 emergency water filters.
- Expanding the mission: Due to the overwhelming momentum and severity of the disaster, we are opening a second phase to fund an additional 1,500 filters for our second Nepali partner Prem and local Christian emergency responders.
- High need: Nepal enters a critical window where bottled water becomes scarce. These filters serve as physical lifelines while opening doors for local believers to share Gospel hope in a region that is nearly 90% unreached.

Urgent relief call: glacial lake outburst causes mass flooding
A catastrophic flash flood triggered by a massive ice and rock avalanche near the Nepal–Tibet border has swept away entire mountain villages, roads, and power infrastructure.
- The disaster: Over 1,300 people remain unaccounted for. Monsoons continue to dump heavy rain, and damaged water systems leave thousands displaced and vulnerable to deadly waterborne illnesses like cholera and dysentery.
- Safety confirmation: Local partners Joshua and Prem and their teams are confirmed safe.
- Urgent request: Joshua has requested 1,000 emergency water filters beyond our previously planned outreach to deploy directly into isolated landslide zones.
